People battling anxiety and depression often struggle with symptoms such as body aches, headaches, and stiff muscles. Other physical manifestations include loss of appetite, diabetes, and heart disease.

- Change in Appetite
Many people experience a loss of appetite when depressed, but others have a hard time controlling their appetite.
A lack of appetite is usually due to excess stomach acid in your gut causing a full feeling. An increased appetite is usually an emotional response when a person turns to eating as a coping mechanism.
- Premature Aging
Aging is a natural part of life that we cannot and should not avoid. However, premature aging is not ideal for overall health.
Physical and mental health both impact how we age. Anxiety can cause skin to age faster because of the way it abrupts blood flow. When the “fight or flight” chemical response action is triggered, blood flow changes course and redistributes to muscles.
